A 2009 science fiction film directed by Duncan Jones. The story of a man (and his clone) who are hired to mine Helium-3 (a nuclear energy source) on the Moon. This concept and its design was inspired by the main character’s short shelf life and that his life and work had been carefully planned by industry.
